This is my very odd mind spewed out onto a blog. It's random, crazy, funny, and it's me :)

HP-The good, the bad, and what I thought. :)

Why hello there fellow bloggers :) I have had an intriguing few days. Today was our first drama rehearsal but that is the subject of another post. This this post is centered on Harry Potter and what I thought of it. If you haven't seen the movie, or read the book you may not want to read anything from here on in.

So on Saturday I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with some of my very good friends.
SO GOOD! I very much enjoyed it. I thought it was funny and witty and kept very close to the book.
The beginning was good, I do wish they had done more of a goodbye scene with the Dursleys. The scene in the book is a redeeming moment for Dudley, his only redeeming moment. After he is a jerk for the entire series he has this one moment where he is actually nice for once. I think it was really good part of the book and it would not have taken long to have it in the movie.
The escape on broomsticks/Thestrals/motorbike was really cool. The multiple Harry's was super funny, and the battle scene was pretty cool.
I enjoyed the wedding and the ear humour with George was rather funny, the toothbrush in the ear was a little random but whatevs.
I kinda missed that they didn't have Harry's birthday, cause Ron never gave him the book about girls. It was a minor thing so I don't really mind it wasn't there.
When they ran off it was cool, the aparation was really well done. The fight in the coffee house was cool, I found the waitress sooooo funny.
I was somewhat disappointed with Grimould Place. The interaction with Kreacher just didn't do it for me. They are supposed to hear his story and have a bonding moment. And the story isn't just for Ron, Harry, and Hermione. The story is also for the reader. Kreacher's story is really supposed to hit the reader and show horrible wizards are to house elves. And it shows the reader that house elves do have human emotions and it's wrong how the wizards treat them. Basically Hermione was right all along.
The invasion of the ministry was also pretty sick. The voices coming from those bodies was weird but made it really cool. And Ron kissing that girl made me laugh so hard. And then they began to wander.
I do feel that the amount of time they spent wandering was rather quick, it did not feel like they were wandering for months. They tried to imply that they wandered around for a long time but it just didn't feel like it. When Ron ran off it was really realistic. The film makers made the audience see what Ron was seeing. Which made us feel for Ron, and understand why he ran off.
I also really enjoyed Godric's Hollow. However I do wish that they had shown the memorial and shown the sign post in front of his house. And the snake coming out of the woman was super creepy!!! I found it really cool.
And then we had Ron return which was pretty well done. The thing with the Locket was basically exactly like the book which was awesome.
Then they travelled to the Lovegoods. I enjoyed this scene. I thought the way the Three Brother's story was told was amazing. It reminded me of Tim Burton's work. The way Lovegoods house was destroyed was kinda weird though.
Then they were snatched by the snatchers. That was cool. And the leader guy was super creepo!
I also really loved Malfoy manner. When Hermione was tortured it kinda looked like Bellatrix was biting her arm which was odd, but when I realized she had carved 'mudblood' in her arm I thought that was brilliant. It shows just how cray-cray BBellatrix is and how little she thinks of other creatures.
The escape was interesting, when Dobby crashed the chandelier I cheered a little. Then when Bellatrix had the knife I began to cringe. I knew what was coming, so I honestly could hardly bring myself to watch. I cringed into my friend hiding from his death.
His death on the beach was so sad. He died in Harry's arms, and his last words "What a beautiful place. With friends." Almost made me cry. I wish they gave him the tombstone though. I think that would have been a really good second to last scene. The shot of Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the beach, then a shot of Dobby's tombstone, then the scene of Voldy.

All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the entire movie, and I am very glad that I saw it with my awesome friends.
I loved the movie and can't wait for the next one :)

Might just explode.

So I'm kinda stressing so I've decided to write a blog post. Warning : Randomness is likely to ensue.

I have to write an essay in English on Macbeth. My essay topic is : "Did the Witches truly manipulate Macbeth or were they just scapegoats for his ambitions?" I'm saying that they didn't manipulate him, but neither were they scapegoats. However I'm kinda second guessing my choice, I'm wondering if I should have gone the other way. Ah! I hate when that happens. But I've decided to stick with my topic. I will follow my instincts, hopefully I'll get a good mark *fingers crossed*.

I also have a biology project and a SAP project due this week, however I'm not a worried about those. Even though I'm only getting an 82 in biology, which is completely ridiculous. However I'm getting an 89 in SAP which is nice :)

What I am kinda worried about in this Chemistry homework I have to do, because I'm not completely sure how to do some of the calculations (If any one from my Chem class is reading this AKA Nick, it would be really helpful is you gave me a hand at lunch tomorrow if I can't figure it out by then :) thanks!)
I hate chemistry. Usually 'm really good at sciences, but with chemistry I have no interest in it so sometimes I don't understand exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I never plan on using chemistry in my life! I don't really know what I'm going to do for a career yet, however I do know that for this career I will not have to know how many atoms are in two moles of Carbon Dioxide or whatever.  Dislike.

Anyways this weekend has been somewhat productive. I figured out all my arguments for my English essay (I think). I got some housework done. I took some notes about the play I'm directing. read some Frankenstein (Started a couple days ago. Pretty good so far, have to be done in like a week. Eeep.) Started reading the Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. TOTALLY AWESOME! However I really need to finish the Knife of Never Letting Go. I want to read it but I know something awful is bound to happen so I'm kinda procrastinating.

I've also been watching Supernatural and playing with Silly Putty quite a bit this weekend ( done season 2! Yay! Not sure if that's a good ting though : /). Not going to lie because of it, it took me ages to fall asleep last night. I also am listening to Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas over and over again right now. I really like this song.
Carry on my wayward son, they'll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest, don't you cry no more.

I've also been listening to a lot of Mother Mother this weekend. Fully enjoying it. You know what I'm not enjoying the fact that I feel sick. So not cool.

On a happy note ; my brother is home : ) He doesn't live at home at the moment so it makes me really happy that I get to see him. I love him a lot even though he can be a nit of a jerk. He's making the fam-jam ribs tonight. Super excited, I hope I feel better by the time they are ready.

Anyway that's all. Except for...drum roll please...Random Fact of the Post!

Did you know that male platypi (the plural of platypus) are poisonous? They have spurs on their back feet that contain the poison. Now you know!

Oh my, a blog :)

So at the moment I am excited. There are quite a few thing in my life to make me excited and that makes me happy. :)

Firstly I've gotten into the Rotary Youth Exchange program and am an alternate for my club. If you don't know what that means I apologize. Basically I am probably going on exchange next year, however there is a slight chance that I won't. I am staying positive though and leaning more towards the first option. :)

Secondly I wrote my first play. It has some glitches and I may never actually present it but frankly I don't care. I'm just happy I wrote a play and finished it :)

Thirdly I am in a play. It is called Wait, Wait, I Can Explain. It is being put on at the Livery and I play one of the lead females :) So excited! I am going to be working with some very awesome people and I can't wait to start :)

Fouthly (is that a word?) I started a blog! Which s exciting, I do hope people will actually read it, cause if they didn't I would basically being talking to myself which is really no different then everyday life.

Fifthly (again, is that a word?) The Macbeth scene enactment my group is doing for our English project we are doing Star Wars style, really this needs no explanation as to why its exciting.

Sixthly, I am directing my schools Sears show!!!! I am so so so excited to do this :) I know we are going to put on a great show this year, AND I get to work with some very talented people, who my age AND the competition is only a block from my house this year AND I am going to be able to see a bunch of my friends who go to different schools AND its a really funny play we're doing :)

And last but certainly not least...Drumroll please..... Harry Potter comes out in 9 days!!! I am not seeing it until the 20th which is 10 days but whatevs! I get to see it with some very awesome people :)

So I know there are a lot of smileys in this post, but I'm just so excited about life :) I promise to tone down the smileys next time. And perhaps the post won't be nearly as random, but then again perhaps not. ;P
